The Story:

For centuries the tales of the 1001 Arabian Nights have enchanted children all around the world. Our story is a humorous adaptation of the tale of the greatest storyteller of all time, the beautiful Scheherazade. The proud and powerful ruler of Persia, King Raynah, was humiliated when his fiancée ran off with a kitchen boy. Now, he takes revenge on all women by marrying a different girl each day only to send her to the executioner the next morning. Scheherazade and her friends despair as they see one girl after another disappear into the palace. With the help of her father, the King’s Grand Vizier, she devises a plan to stop the madness. In order to do this, however, she must marry the king herself.

The story is set in the Persian Empire long, long ago.
